Every single thing cooperated in this website all connects to the theme "Parent and Child Relations".
"Your Clothes" is a short but heart felt poem that describes the unspoken relationship between two daughters and their mother. The poem describes the two daughters as clothes of the mother. No matter what, given away or worn, the clothes are still of their mother. No matter what happens between the daughter and mother, they are still daughters to their mom. This one of my favorite poems because this is a value that should be held close to everyone. Though thick, thin, fights, and all we are still children to our parents.
The Poem "What I Learned From My Mother" is a poem showing another relationship between the author and her mother. In this poem you can see how the author's mother has raised her daughter to be compassionate, considerate, and loving. This poem shows that there has been a good relationship between the author and her mother. This poem also is a good example for parents to be for their children.
The poem "Family" is a poem that describes the relation between the author and her family. No matter where she goes in life, she will always hold her family close to her heart. This is the type of relationship that most of us have.
The two proses are articles that relate to my theme "Parent and Child Relations". These articles give advice to parents on ways to enhance the relationship between them and their children. These articles also give different ways on how to raise their children.
Therefore as you can see, every poem and prose connects to my theme "Parent and Child Relations".
